The WAY Station of Truth and Life What is a Way Station? A “Way Station” historically was a stagecoach or wagon where people could stop find supplies and refreshments, while the horses were replaced with fresh ones. Ken and Donna Stroud are now the proud owners of their own “WAY Station”, where we too can find refreshment for our souls. History of the Store The Strouds have taken on this new enterprise as their mission. They firmly believe that, “God put us here”. When they became discouraged, or had doubts, they continually prayed and God seemed to answer them with “the Store”. Ken approached the store owner, asking if he would be willing to sell. To Ken’s surprise, the owner replied that he had been praying for someone to come in and offer to purchase the store. The store had been in the Uhl family for 50 plus years. Now the torch has been passed and God will continually use the store as a “WAY Station” for our souls.
